The refuelling system at any airport is probably one of the most critical. Not only does the correct functioning of a fuel hydrant system determine the operational capacity of the airport, but the ability to refuel aircraft safely and reliably is key.

For the past 5 years, we have been responsible for maintaining the fuel hydrant systems at OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA). We have also recently revamped over 100 fuel hydrant pits at ORTIA to bring them in line with 4th Edition, JIG standards and regulations regarding Aviation Fuelling.

As recently as 2017, we increased our Fuel Line expertise, now adding in the design, maintenance and installation of Cathodic Protection Systems and other pipeline integrity solutions.

Ground Power Units (GPU's)

Parnis has been responsible for the maintenance of the 400Hz ground power units at ORTIA since 1996.

Passenger Boarding Systems

For over 20 years, Parnis has been installing, commissioning and maintaining CIMC, Thyssenkrupp, JBT and NKI Aviobridge PBBs at various airports in sub-Saharan Africa.

Baggage Handling Systems

In addition, our various baggage-related installations include hold baggage screen systems at several South African airports since 1996. The latest such installation was at CTIA.
