Passenger Boarding Bridges
Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) are one of the most ubiquitous, high-volume structures at modern airports. Used by hundreds of thousands of passengers each day, PBBs need to be safe, reliable and adaptable to various aircraft types.
Seamless Transitioning
For over 20 years, Parnis has been installing, commissioning and maintaining CIMC, Thyssenkrupp, JBT and NKI Aviobridge PBBs at various airports in sub-Saharan Africa.
In addition to installations in Botswana and Zimbabwe, within South Africa, we installed and currently maintain 21 PBBs at OR Tambo International Airport – 18 of these are apron-drives and 8 are nose loader systems.
At Cape Town International Airport, working closely with CIMC Tianda, we installed and currently maintain 10 state-of-the-art PBBs, 5 each being nose loaders and apron drive systems.
And at King Shaka International Airport, Durban, we maintain 16 PBBs, 12 of which are nose-loaders and 4 apron-drive systems.
